When we think of yoga, many of us picture stretching and strengthening the body - and that’s absolutely part of it. But for kids, yoga offers so much more than just physical benefits. It’s a powerful tool that supports their emotional wellbeing, focus, and social skills, helping them grow into balanced, confident little humans.

Children experience big emotions: excitement, frustration, anxiety … sometimes all at once. Yoga teaches them how to notice those feelings without being overwhelmed. Yoga is more than exercise for kids, it’s a tool for life. I’ll never forget a four-year-old telling me, “I used my dragon breath when I was scared.” It’s moments like that which remind me why I do this work. Yoga gives children real tools - and I feel so lucky to watch those tools take root in their everyday lives.
